International Yoga Teachers Association

The International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) is an international non-profit organisation founded in Australia in 1967. The IYTA’s primary activity is to conduct yoga teacher training (Hatha based) and an Association for yoga teachers internationally. The well-established, highly regarded and extensive IYTA Diploma of Yoga Teaching course has been running for over forty years with thousands of students graduating with the IYTA International Diploma. The IYTA provides excellent Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes and offers a Post Graduate Certificate of Pre and Post Natal Yoga, a Post Graduate Certificate of Backcare and Post Graduate Studies in Advanced Yoga Teaching.

The IYTA promotes yoga’s many benefits – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It aims to increase understanding and application of the principles and philosophy of Yoga.
