This seed bar is packed with wholesome nutrition. Nestled between savoury and sweet, the bars can be eaten any time of day to give your body a lift. For a sweeter version, add a little honey when blending.

Tahini Seed Bars

Need a healthy energy burst? Nestled between savory and sweet, these bars can be eaten any time of day to give your body a lift.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 4 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 4 dates, pitted
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp walnuts

Method


  • In food processor blend banana, tahini, peanut butter, dates, salt and cinnamon to a paste. Add remaining ingredients and pulse for 1 min.
  • Pour mixture into rectangular plastic container or baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Freeze overnight.
  • Remove from freezer and cut into bars, then transfer to fridge.
  • Bars will last for 1 week in fridge.
