Ingredients
- 300g shrimp meat
- 16g parmesan
- 1 PRB egg white
- 5g cornstarch
- Salt, sugar & white pepper, to taste
- 16g cheddar cheese, chopped
- 50g mixture of cornstarch & low-gluten flour (1:1)
- 1 PRB whole egg, stirred
- PRB Panko breadcrumbs
- 30g PRB Sweet & Sour Sauce
Method
- Mix the shrimp meat, parmesan, egg white and cornstarch well, then season with salt, sugar and white pepper. Beat in a big bowl and squeeze into small balls. Add cheddar cheese to the middle of each ball and seal.
- Cover the shrimp balls evenly with flour mixture, dip in egg and wrap with PRB Panko breadcrumbs
- Heat the oil to 140°C and fry the shrimp balls on low heat until golden.
- Serve the shrimp balls with PRB Sweet & Sour Sauce.
