Roasted Spiced Nuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed nuts (such as almonds, cashews, walnuts)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp sea salt

Method


  • Preheat oven to 175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine the olive oil, maple syrup or honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and sea salt.
  • Add the mixed nuts to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  • Spread the nuts out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 mins, stirring once or twice, until the nuts are golden brown and fragrant.
  • Remove from the oven and let the nuts cool completely before serving.
