Recipe
Ingredients
- 200g spreadable cream cheese
- 1 packet wraps
- Cumin, to taste
- 1½ cups chopped lettuce,
- either iceberg or cos lettuce
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken or cooked rotisserie chicken
- 125g alfalfa, watercress or pea sprouts
Method
- Spread cream cheese over the whole of 1 side of the wrap, right to the edge (this helps the wrap stay together when you cut it). Sprinkle with cumin.
- Layer a thin layer of lettuce, chicken and sprouts over the wrap with an inch free around the edges.
- Tightly start rolling from one side to the other and the cream cheese on the edge will seal the wrap and help it from unrolling.
- Cut the wraps into 2-inch slices and place in your child’s lunchbox as desired.
- Tip: If you are making them the night before, roll and wrap tightly in cling wrap and refrigerate. Cut directly before adding to lunchboxes.
