Ingredients
- 1 cup of Kialla Pure Foods Organic Spelt Flour or Plain Flour
- ¼ cup organic Kialla Pure Foods Organic Besan Flour
- 1 cup Kialla Pure Foods Organic Rolled Oats
- 1 cup organic coconut sugar (powdered down so it’s not lumpy)
- 1 tbsp ground organic cinnamon
- ¾ cup organic desiccated coconut
- ½ cup melted organic coconut oil
- 2 tbsp organic maple syrup
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ cup coconut water
- ¼ cup melted chocolate, to drizzle
Method
- Preheat oven to 180ºC and line 2 trays with baking paper.
- Combine the flours, oats, sugar, cinnamon and coconut in a bowl.
- Melt the coconut oil with the maple syrup then add in the baking powder and stir well.
- Add the oil mix to the dry ingredients, then add the coconut water and mix well with a spoon.
- If you want big cookies, roll an ice-cream scoop of mixture into a ball and flatten slightly on the tray. For smaller biscuits use a tbs to measure out.
- Bake for 20-25 mins. Allow them to cool or enjoy chewy and warm. You can also drizzle over with melted chocolate after you remove from the oven.
