No-Boil Pasta Bake

How about a delicious and filling pasta bake that the kids can make with minimal help? This pasta bake literally comes together in about 5 mins in one dish, and doesn’t involve boiling water, so it’s safe for little helpers. Mix and bake. That’s all there is to it.

Ingredients

  • 500g large pasta spirals
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 700g passata
  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable stock
  • 2 cups grated cheese

Method


  • Preheat oven to 190°C.
  • Spread the pasta spirals over the bottom of a rectangular baking dish.
  • Scatter the vegetables over the top.
  • Pour the passata and the stock over the top and stir through.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  • Uncover the pasta and give it a stir.
  • Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top and pop it back in the oven for approx. 10 mins, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
