Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 large pears, halved
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 cup Greek or coconut yoghurt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Lavender Honey
  • ¼ cup pure honey
  • 1 tsp food-grade lavender

Method

  • Heat oven to 180°C and line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  • Place butter on the tray and then place pears cut-side down on the tray and on top of the butter so it melts as it cooks. Bake for 30 mins.
  • While pears are cooking, make the lavender honey. Place honey in a small saucepan over very low heat, add lavender flowers and cook for 15 mins. Remove from heat.
  • Once pears are cooked, drizzle lavender honey over the top and serve with Greek yoghurt sprinkled with cinnamon.
  • Store remaining honey in an air-tight container and use as you wish.
