Gluten-free Banana Cake with Passionfruit Frosting
Bananas are rich in vitamin B6, which is needed for healthy nervous system function. The body needs B6 to make the neurotransmitter GABA, which has a calming effect on the nervous system. Eating potassium-rich foods such as bananas will help promote normal blood pressure and better bone health. Bananas contain resistant starch, a type of fibre that helps support the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, which in turn boosts immune health.
