Chilli Chocolate-Dipped Figs

Chilli Chocolate-Dipped Figs

This simple recipe is the perfect little sweet treat after a big meal.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ tsp ground chilli powder (plus a little extra for garnish)
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 8 fresh figs, quartered or halved

Method


  • Pour chocolate chips into stainless-steel or glass bowl and place over saucepan of simmering water. Make sure water can’t touch bottom of bowl. When chocolate chips have softened, add spices and coconut oil. Stir until smooth and glossy.
  • Dip figs into chocolate one by one. Place on plate lined with baking paper. Pop in fridge to harden for 15 mins, then serve.
