Caramelised Baked Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp coconut sugar
  • ¼ tsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 6 sweet potatoes, peeled & cut into long batons
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted

Method


  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  • In a large bowl, mix the coconut sugar, nutmeg and salt. Add the sweet potato and coconut oil and toss until the sweet potato is well coated.
  • Spread out the sweet potato on a baking tray. Bake for about 1 hour, until deep golden brown all over turning halfway through.
