Broccoli is a great source of dietary fibre and vitamin C, required to support bowel health and immune and adrenal function. Bring this delicious pesto to your next picnic!

Ingredients

  • 140g broccoli florets, stems removed
  • ⅓ cup raw macadamia nuts
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Juice 1 lemon
  • Pinch sea salt
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Handful parmesan cheese, optional

Method


  • Steam broccoli for 6 mins or until tender.
  • Place broccoli and other ingredients in food processor and blend until well combined.
  • If you prefer thinner consistency, add more olive oil.
