Apple Cider Vinegar Green Tea

Green tea contains potent antioxidants called polyphenols that help support immune function. Raw apple cider vinegar is a prebiotic food that can help support the growth of healthy microflora in the gut. Cayenne is beneficial for supporting healthy immune function, and for treating colds and flu, as it helps clear mucus congestion, and eases sore throats and coughs.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp organic green tea
  • Small slice fresh ginger
  • 2 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 1 pinch cayenne
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Method


  • In a teapot brew green tea and ginger in 1 cup of near boiling water.
  • Strain and then add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
  • Tip: Having apple cider vinegar before a meal is recommended to help improve digestion. Raw apple cider vinegar is beneficial for people with digestive problems including reflux, bloating, and indigestion.
