I noticed the little girl in her pretty dress eating her icecream, waiting patiently for her mum and dad to buy some food in a store at the Adelaide Markets.
=Q=
As she stared happily into space she swayed her body left to right, like the agitator on a top-loader washing machine.
Back and forth, left to right in free delight in her pretty yellow dress. So feminine and divine at such a young age.
It seems lots of little girls have this sway born inside of them. Like a happy contentment dance. A lovely movement of the body expressing soft joy instead of standing still as a statue.
Can you remember the last time you let your body sway in contentment?
Not a yoga pose or untwitching a stiff back, but indulging in a happy soft dance with whatever you feel ~ wherever you are, doing whatever you do.
You can imagine, if you like, a leaf floating down gently from a tall tree.
Swirling, swaying, like a ballet dancing to the ground.
Warmest Renee
