Aurora Spa in St Kilda, Victoria
Aurora Spa
Aurora Spa, St Kilda is located in the heart of St Kilda in Melbourne on the first level of the Prince of Wales, a boutique five-star hotel. Established by Lyndall Mitchell 20 years ago, the vision for Aurora Spa was a wellness focused approach to spa, to create an urban, high performance spa that delivers maximum results for clients. The result is that Aurora Spa is your retreat, a place for you to relax and unwind.
The Facilities
Aurora Spa, St Kilda ranges over two levels. The first level is reception and the ASPAR boutique, with a pristine water wall to create an instant calming space on arrival. Located in the Prince Hotel, accommodation can be arranged to have the ultimate relaxation escape.
Treatments
All treatments at Aurora Spa are a combination of results-focused techniques, age-old wisdom and spa expertise using powerful and effective botanically active formulations that address skin, body and lifestyle concerns and allow you to relax and revive. The treatment menu offers body massage, hands and feet treatments, advanced facials using the exclusive results driven Kerstin Florian facial range and our award winning Kitya Karnu signature steam room treatment.
The deluxe Correcting and Essentials range from Kerstin Florian allows the luxurious facials on offer to create a balance of resolution and relaxation for clients. The range is designed for every skin type, from the high quality ingredients to the earthy scent, it creates a sensory journey from the first cleanse, exfoliation, masque, facial massage and serum application.
Aurora Spa prides itself on valuing health and wellbeing and it is important that their treatments reflect this, which is why it they have placed such a strong emphasis on finding a skincare range that is in line with their values and beliefs. It is for that reason that Aurora Spa management and staff choose to work with the Kerstin Florian range, because it understands what they want to achieve and exceeds those expectations every time.
The Aurora Spa therapeutic treatment menu includes signature steam treatments, advanced facials, body massage and hands and feet treatments, as well as offering spa retreat packages of 2 hours or more. All treatments use botanically active products that work in harmony with your body and allow you to relax and unwind.
Perhaps the most famous and popular treatment is the award-winning Kitya Karnu steam room treatment; a deeply relaxing, total body experience in your own private steam room. Aromatic body oils and pure mineral salts are applied for a full body exfoliation, followed by a massaging application of a rich and creamy walnut and wattleseed exfoliant. A nourishing hair treatment is applied along with a hydrating facial cleanse and masque. A cool river stone ritual that helps to clear and revive energy centres completes the treatment.
Choose from:
Detox — detoxifying grapefruit and sweet orange salts with reviving body oils.
Bliss — relaxing lavender and patchouli salts with calming body oils.
When you emerge from this unique experience you’ll feel nourished from head to toe and be amazed by the softness of your skin.
