Aluminium toxicity
The effects of aluminium toxicity can mimic Alzheimer’s disease. People that have worked in aluminium processing plants are known to experience impaired coordination and a loss of energy. Many everyday products such as baking powder, painkillers and anti-perspirants contain aluminium. Aluminium toxicity most commonly arises from the excessive use of aluminium containing antacids.
Symptoms: colic, rickets, gastrointestinal issues, nervousness, anaemia, headaches, decreased liver and kidney function, speech disturbance, memory loss and softening of the bones.
