Insect bite
A great number of insects bite, including mosquitoes, fire ants, fleas and ticks. Usually an insect bite is a minor ailment with no further consequence. But in some regions of the world, ticks and mosquitoes can carry other illness such as Lyme disease and malaria, respectively. Spiders (e.g. black widow) although not really insects, can also bite ferociously.
Symptoms: localised itching and redness.
