Arsenic poisoning
Arsenic is a poisonous element found in various sources including pesticides, tobacco smoke, table salt and seafood. People can be exposed to arsenic in their line of work including pesticide production, copper smelting and mining and are at a higher risk for developing cancer of the skin, scrotum, liver and lung.
Symptoms: headaches, confusion, convulsions, drowsiness and fingernail pigmentation changes. The accumulation of toxic levels can lead to death.
