Yoga Without A Plan

“I’ve learned to trust what I call the Braille method of living – relinquishing grand plans and schemes in favor of an intuitive approach, feeling my way from tree to tree, relinquishing my attempts to control the world and learning, instead, to trust a discerning surrender.”

– Some yoga wisdom from Stephen Cope

There is something very appealing about just feeling my way from tree to tree.

Recently I was on an amazing holiday in an amazing place and I had to plan to make sure I got around to see all the sights in the time I had.  The thing is – amazing things happened on the day I forgot the plan.

We set out on a 300K drive but only got 150K because we kept stopping for photos.  We found a yoga centre that suited us to start the day, then when out in the forest fantastic hillside with spectacular gorge views when I went to pee behind a rock, we stumbled in to a film set and watched for two hours while actors did their thing again and again, saw two wolf cubs, and a moose!  Things miraculously flowed when we abandoned the plan.
