Touched by an Angel

With all the negativity happening in the world right now there is nothing quite like the innocence and love from a child that can turn despair and helplessness into joy and motivation.

As six degrees of separation reduces to about 1.5, information reached me this week that allowed me to embrace probably the most touching thing that anyone has done for me…. EVER!

I received a call from my ex husband as he had just learned of my breast cancer diagnosis.  The old friend through whom he heard this news only learned of it himself as he read his daughters school project.

Touched by an Angel

The class had been asked to do an assignment on someone whom they believed to be a spiritual person.  Angelina who has just turned 11 had heard her mum a dear friend of mine talking regularly with her family about my progress and so I became the topic of this assignment.

The point of my sharing this story aside from my being touched by an Angel, is that no matter our insecurities, life dramas we just never know who we may be having a positive impact on.

Although my pathological optimism has served me well so far I had not realised how programmed I/we are to observe the negatives in most situations.

After some recent healing processes I have strangely found myself with an acute awareness of the good things that are taking place everyday.  A man stopping to give someone in a wheel chair some change, then going back opening his wallet to give some more.  The courteousness of the staff at the supermarket in wishing me a good day, when the frustration of being asked for rewards cards and vouchers used to raise my blood pressure.  A friends dog presenting me with my very own stick!

This kind of energy is contagious and I hope that it does become an epidemic; one that humanity wishes to catch rather than the feared illnesses that we know to well.

According to Dr Amit Goswami the Quantum phycisist it will take only 1 million quantum activists applying the theory of unlimited potential as opposed limiting beliefs to change the way we currently think and act in our daily lives around the world.

I did commence these blogs with the intention of sharing some valuable nutrition tips that have helped me along my cancer journey however as I share my experience of the healing process this is where it is all at for me right now.  Whilst correct eating has been critical the emotional healing journey has been a much greater part of the process.

Breast cancer as I have mentioned before is about needing to open up the heart in a receiving capacity.  As I open up my heart centre there is proof of a whole new way of viewing the world whilst still being able to give.

Angelina has certainly lifted my spirits this week and we have barely ever had any contact.  Thank you so much little Angel and may you be touched through out your life in the way you touch others.

I would love to set a challenge to all you readers to see how many good things you can witness over the weekend and would love for you to share with me helen@leadingedgelifestyle.com.au   Who knows it may just change the way you view any challenges you currently face.
