Tell our readers a little bit about Seed & Sprout

Seed & Sprout is an eco-lifestyle brand based in Byron Bay. We are deeply devoted to creating beautiful, practical, and innovative everyday products that minimise our impact on the environment. We started off with a Stainless Steel Lunch Box in 2016, and now we have over 100 of our own products, from our pantry and baking range to travel and skincare and everything in between!

What is the inspiration behind the “Without” collection?

The inspiration behind our skincare came directly from our founder, Sophie Kovic, who lives and breathes sustainability in her everyday life. When Sophie couldn’t find the skincare products that ticked all of her boxes, we decided to take matters into our own hands. It’s the benefit of being a small business with an incredibly hands-on product team. 

We set out on a mission to create skincare that not only nourishes and restores the skin barrier but also addresses the issue of packaging waste. Our aim is to contribute to the sustainability of our environment with a zero-waste product that also provides beautifully effective, natural skincare. 

Does the “Without” collection include any organic or natural products?

YES! Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of our skincare from the ingredients to our packaging. 

We proudly use 100% natural ingredients and many of them are organic including our Kakadu Plum, Finger Lime and Aloe Vera. 

While there are numerous organic and natural skincare brands out there, we have strived to create something truly distinctive. We believe our commitment to sustainability from the ingredients to our packaging is what truly sets our Without collection apart from the rest.

Vegan Friendly, Palm Oil Free, 100% Natural, Dermatologically Tested, Clinically Proven and Hypoallergenic.

Our Forever lid is made from Zinc Alloy, not plastic and it can be used…forever! Order your Moisturiser, Serum or Mask on our website and when it’s empty simply recycle the aluminium tube in your household recycling, keep hold of your forever lid and order your refill from our website. All of our cardboard packaging that can be composted or recycled! Zero waste skincare, to make you and the planet glow. 

Can you tell me more about Seed Sprout and their commitment to sustainability?

Our hope is for you to feel proud of your choices and for you to know that we are here to support you on your sustainability journey. We would be nothing without our community and we love hearing from you! 

Whether it’s a question about a product, recycling tips or even how to remove your peanut butter label from the glass jar so you can reuse them! Sustainability looks different to us all and we’re here for all of it. 

What is one of the highlights of your brand journey to date?

While we have many highlights over the last 6 1/2 years, we just found out that we’ve been honored with the Green Finder Online Retailer of The Year award for the fourth consecutive year, and we couldn’t be prouder! 

This award recognises our commitment to sustainable products, zero emissions practices, plastic-free shipping, and our eco-friendly headquarters (our office compost, veggie garden and beehive are just some of our favourites!).
