Emily Colquhoun – Seared Salmon with “The Best Green Salad”

My love and passion for cooking started when I was a little kid. Some of my fondest memories are cooking with my nan in the kitchen. She taught me a lot of what I know and I’m so thankful for her. There’s just something about that first mouthful of a dish that make me feel so happy and warm inside.
I find that being in the kitchen and trying new recipes helps me wind down from my busy job as a midwife. This is a go-to dinner for me, it’s quick, nutritious and tastes delicious. The greens salad recipe comes from a family I follow on Instagram, I just love their recipes and enjoy making them for friends and family.

Aarke Carbonator 3

Sparkling water is my drink of choice over summer, and I have been loving the new Aarke Carbonator 3 to deliver fresh bubbles without the waste. The machine itself is sleek and compact, making it a chic addition to any kitchen bench. But the real drawcard is the quick and efficient carbonation which converts still water to sparking in just 10 seconds – the perfect tipple for a midday refresh or to pair with a weekend gin.

Brookfarm Cacao Coconut Granola

If you’re searching for the perfect breakfast treat without the sugar, this gluten-free blend is your answer. Baked in Brookfarm’s Byron Bay headquarters, it’s crunchy, deliciously chocolatey and contains less sugar than almost any other supermarket blend I’ve tried. I usually enjoy mine with a dash of coconut milk and dollop of yoghurt but I’ve been getting creative using the granola in breakfast bars, dessert toppings and smoothie bowls.

MOD Juicer

Nothing says “good morning” like a fresh, fruity juice, and MOD offers the ultimate cold-pressed experience with their chic multi-function juicer. It’s oh so easy to operate and clean, and makes not only juice with your favourite fruit and veg combinations but nut milk and sorbets as well. Unlike traditional juicers, MOD’s juicing process operates a little slower to extract juice without heat friction or blades, allowing more vitamins and minerals to be retained in the final product for a nutritious boost. It’s so much more sustainable (an tasty) than store-bought juice and every machine includes a wellness pack full of delicious recipes and a 5-day juice detox – perfect for the new year cleanse!
