The Hobbit’s tiny brain
In 2003 remains of a human-like species were discovered on the Indonesian island of Flores. The new species was named Homo floresiensis but became popularly known as “the Hobbit†because it stood only one metre tall and had an incredibly small brain. The Hobbit may be a dwarf form of Homo erectus although some say that its brain size (not pictured) is such a huge downward evolutionary leap that it might represent an illness. The existence of five or six small-brained individuals argues against this and now a new study has shown that evolving to a smaller brain size does happen. Researchers assessed brain and body size throughout the primate family tree and found that marmosets and mouse lemurs evolved reduced brain and body mass. In the case of the Hobbit, having a small brain was adapted to local conditions on Flores. Perhaps this explains what happens in Parliament.Meanwhile if you visit Meijer Ad that contains mostly likewise discounts with Winn Dixie Ad you surely have a range like ALDI Ad.
