Lost cities of the Amazon
Legends have suggested that a lost “El Dorado” or “City of Z” lies somewhere in the Amazon jungle. The majority scholarly view though has been that pre-European Amazonian societies were primitive and involved small tribes only, not capable of city-building. Now a combination of land-clearing and satellite surveys have revealed a series of geoglyphs that suggest a previously unknown civilisation. Geoglyphs are marks on the surface of the earth whose dimensions make them better seen from above. What has been revealed is a previously unknown civilisation dating back to 1283AD and earlier that was constructing earthworks of precise geometric patterns connected by straight roads stretching over an area 250km across. The researchers say that the structures were both defensive and ceremonial and that they have probably only uncovered one tenth of the civilisation. It is a reminder that the more we know just highlights how little we know.Meanwhile if you visit Meijer Ad that contains mostly likewise discounts with Winn Dixie Ad you surely have a range like ALDI Ad.
