Adorn Loose Mineral Eye Shadow

I must be honest and share that I’m not someone who wears a lot of makeup during the day. I have been known to dabble in eye makeup, but it’s always just a whisper of eye shadow across the lid rather than a thick, dark, smokey look. I tried the Adorn Loose Mineral Eye Shadow apprehensively, as I am someone who prescribes to the ‘less is more’ approach when it comes to makeup. I must admit, I was very impressed. Not only is this product very pigmented, it is a loose powder so you can choose to have as much or as little as you like on your brush (or, if you’re like me, your finger). It has incredible staying power and after a full day at work I was pleased to see it still shimmering away atop my eyelids. All I did was dip a clean finger in the pot, gently tap away any excess then lightly pat it across my eyelid followed by a quick sweep of mascara. Perfect!

Mavala Duo Eye Shadow Powder Grey Chic

The Mavala Duo Eye Shadow Powder is a tiny, convenient little eyeshadow compact that is here to inject your makeup routine with some ease. Within the compact are two chic shades that are designed to complement each other perfectly. I followed the advice of Mavala and applied the darker shade to the lower part of my upper eyelid and the lighter shade to the top of my eyelid, towards my eyebrow. The shadows are velvety, richly pigmented and have a very subtle pearl-like glimmer to them. They also have incredible staying power and lasted for hours.

Natio Mineral Eye Shadow Palette (assorted)

I’m not usually one to wear a lot of eyeshadow, but the petite little palettes from Natio make it easier than ever. It has six complimentary mineral eyeshadow shades tucked neatly into a travel-sized compact, perfect for your handbag. The palette is designed to work harmoniously together so you can mix and match the colours as you see fit. I opted to use my own eyeshadow brushes and applied the lightest shade near my brow bone and on the inner corner of my eye, blending darker shades towards the outer edges of my eye and across my eyelid.  Then I just gently buffed and blended with one of my eyeshadow brushes for a flawless finish.
