The experience

Bannisters by the Sea is comprised of 34 luxurious rooms each accentuated with a private balcony and spectacular Ocean views. Plush beds and bespoke amenities create a stylish seaside space ideal for rest and relaxation after a sublime day spa treatment.

Designed to offer guests a private retreat to relax and recharge, Bannisters Day Spa is comprised of four indoor treatment rooms and a large hammam stream room with rain shower. Making the most of Bannisters’ stunning coastal location, a semi-alfresco cabana is also offered, where guests can bask in the soothing rhythm of the waves below.

Sister hotel, Bannisters Pavilion, is situated just 800 metres away and offers another 35 luxuriously designed rooms. A complimentary courtesy vehicle runs between the two premises for the ease and convenience of guests.

The treatments

The treatments at Bannisters Day Spa provide a sensory experience. Skilled therapists use the finest Eminence products to leave both body and mind relaxed and restored. Eminence provides a holistic approach to skincare and uses only the finest ingredients from Hungary, chosen specifically for their beautifying properties.

The extensive treatment menu ranges from soothing relaxation and remedial options to warming hot stone massages designed to melt away stress.

A selection of spa packages are available including The Pinnacle Experience — the ultimate day of indulgence. The Pinnacle Experience begins with a skin-stimulating full-body polish and nourishing cocoon as well as time to unwind in a private steam room. Then rinse off under the tranquil rain shower to reveal luminous skin before a full-body body massage. Finish off with a luxurious facial, manicure and pedicure to give you that head-to-toe glow.

Bannisters Day Spa’s range of facials is tailored to address each guest’s individual needs to leave skin looking and feeling radiant. Expert therapists will discuss your skincare requirements during a skin analysis before performing a sublime facial tailored to you. Bannisters Skin Fit Facial will energise your skin leaving it toned and exfoliated as well as moisturised and radiant. The Anti-Ageing Powerhouse Facial is rich with organic antioxidants and plant peptides to deeply hydrate and plump skin and boost collagen to address fine lines. Or you can go all the way with a Pinnacle Facial, combining a customised facial with a soothing eye treatment to minimise fine lines and reduce puffiness, a mind-melting scalp massage and a relaxing foot massage.

Manicures at Bannisters are a luxurious experience that includes exfoliation, cocoon and a relaxing hand and arm massage to leave skin smooth and soft. Pedicures include a relaxing foot soak, exfoliation and cocoon followed by a leg and foot massage using warmed stones. Both manicures and pedicures are finished with a buff and polish of the nails, selecting from our range of classic colours.

Getting there

Bannisters’ seaside location is easily accessible by car. Enjoy a scenic drive only two-and-a-half hours from Canberra and three hours from Sydney. The area is also regularly serviced by bus. Parking is available free of charge at the hotel.
