Banana and Chocolate Fudge Cookies Recipe
These healthy cookies are a favourite in our house! Bake them for your next picnic or friend’s birthday.

Ingredients
- 1½ cups banana puree (about 3 bananas mashed with fork until smooth)
- ½ cup smooth peanut butter or other nut butter
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tbsp coarse pink salt, to sprinkle on top
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Mix all ingredients except salt in bowl to form dough. Using tablespoon, scoop dough into balls and place on baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Keep balls about 2.5cm apart.
- Sprinkle top of each ball with salt. Bake for 10 mins. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
- Note: If mixture is too wet and not forming a ball, add a little more cocoa powder. Balls should be firm but moist.
