Peninsula Hot Springs has partnered with local accommodation providers to offer Stay and Bathe packages, which include bathing for two at the Spa Dreaming Centre, an overnight stay, breakfast for two at the accommodation, robe, towel and locker hire.

You can choose a package to suit your needs ranging from the most indulgent of experiences to a simple Stay and Bathe. Whether you are looking for a beachside retreat, bed and breakfast, a luxury hotel or a serviced apartment, there is a package to suit your needs. Treatments and services

The two feature facilities at Peninsula Hot Springs provide an experience for everyone. These are the Bath House and the Spa Dreaming Centre.

Bath House

Connect with yourself and nature in the company of others. The Bath House offers a social bathing experience, perfect for groups, friends and extended families. More than 20 globally inspired bathing experiences invite you to immerse yourself in the restorative waters surrounded by nature.

The natural thermal bathing experiences feature a cave pool, reflexology walk, Turkish hamam (steam bath), sauna, cold-plunge pools, family bathing area, massaging thermal mineral showers and a hilltop pool with a 360-degree view of the region.

Benefits of hot spring bathing include detoxification, improved blood circulation, cell oxygenation, improved digestion, normalised endocrine glands and an invigorated the autonomic nervous system.

Spa Dreaming Centre

The award-winning Spa Dreaming Centre is where your mind and body can relax in the natural surrounds, providing the ultimate indulgence for you or someone special. The Spa Dreaming Centre offers a choice of tranquil thermal mineral pools, indoor and outdoor private hot mineral pools and baths, a steam-infusion room and a relaxation room for exclusive use by spa centre patrons (16 years of age and over).

A wide selection of spa treatments is available for guests including the Li’Tya range of therapies, which incorporate Aboriginal massage and healing techniques. Services include a vast range of treatments, including Kodo full-body massages, facials, mud treatments, foot and hand treatments and ancient healing stone therapy. Combine your treatment with geothermal mineral bathing to further eliminate body toxins and promote healthy skin.

The food

Guests are invited to share a meal like no other to nourish and replenish the body. Guests dine in their robes and can choose from contemporary and seasonal breakfast, lunch or dinner menus in the Bath House or Spa Dreaming Centre cafes, or bring their own treats from home to indulge in the Bath House picnic area.

Things to remember

Bookings are highly recommended and essential during holiday periods.

Off-peak: Tuesdays–Thursdays

Peak: Fridays–Mondays and school and public holidays.

Please note a 10 per cent surcharge applies to all bookings on public holidays.

The Spa Dreaming Centre is open to guests 16 years of age and over. The Bath House is open to guests of all ages; however, after 10am, the bathing gully is reserved for guests 16 years of age and over.

Getting there

Peninsula Hot Springs is located 75 minutes from Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula.

Bunyip Tours offers a return daily bus service to Peninsula Hot Springs. There is also a shuttle service run by Melbourne on the Move that departs Melbourne City outside the Regent Theatre. There are also pick-up points at Caulfield and Frankston stations. Departure times are subject to demand and you should visit the Melbourne on the Move website to book (melbourneonthemove.com.au/listing/day-tours). There is a cost for this service that includes the transport and Bath House bathing.

If you want to travel by public transport, take the Frankston line train to Frankston. From there, take the number 788 bus to Rye and from Rye, take a taxi or Uber.
