Fever
A fever is an elevation of the body temperature, intended as a defence mechanism for the body to destruct pathogens and infectious microbes. A fever can be dangerous for young children (as it can lead to seizures) and for adults with cardiac issues. Prolonged periods of fever can cause dehydration and brain injury.
Symptoms: chills and feeling cold.
