Yoghurt and Fruit Parfaits

This a fun breakfast for kids to put together. By using a glass jar instead of a bowl, kids can see the different layers as they are putting them in. Feel free to use any fruit in season or fruit your children enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, chopped
  • Punnet strawberries, chopped
  • 2 passionfruit
  • 1 kiwifruit
  • 1 cup yoghurt (cow’s or coconut)
  • ¼ cup toasted buckwheat

Method


  • This recipe is very simple to put together: start with layer of fruit in bottom of glass, top with spoon of yoghurt, then toasted buckwheat. Then another layer of fruit, yoghurt and more toasted buckwheat.
  • Continue this process until glass is full, then it’s ready to enjoy.
