Ingredients
- 1 large ripe banana, sliced & frozen
- 2 tbsp salted natural peanut butter
- 1–2 dates, pitted
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 pumps Nirvana Stevia™ Chocolate Stevia Syrup (or 2 scoops Nirvana Stevia™ Pure Extract Powder)
- 1–1½ cups almond milk
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs (optional)
- 1 tbsp flax or hemp seeds (optional)
Method
- Add all smoothie ingredients except almond milk to blender. Add almond milk ½ cup at a time, adding only enough to allow the ingredients to blend together. Add more for a thinner shake and less for a thicker shake.
- Taste and adjust flavours, adding more Nirvana Stevia for sweetness, cacao for chocolate flavour or peanut butter for saltiness. If desired, add handful of ice for extra thickness.
- Tip:Best when fresh, though leftovers will keep covered in the fridge for up to 24 hours. You could even freeze this into popsicles.
