These naturally sweet poached pears are the ultimate healthy dessert. Rooibos tea is a popular South African beverage that is naturally caffeine-free. Rooibos contains high levels of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds which make it beneficial for supporting cardiovascular health.

Ingredients
- 2 large pears, peeled
- 3 tbsp raw honey
- 2 rooibos tea bags
- 1 stick cinnamon
- Coconut yoghurt
- Crumbled walnuts
Method
- Fill a saucepan with enough water to cover the pears (standing upright). Bring to the boil, then lower the heat to a simmer and add the honey, rooibos and cinnamon.
- Cut the bottoms off the pears so they sit properly. Place pears in the pot and simmer for around 20 mins.
- Serve the pears with coconut yoghurt and walnuts with some of the pear syrup.
