By adding hemp seeds to your smoothies, you not only get a lovely mild nutty flavour but they are rich in omega 3 and 6 and are a great source of protein.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp MCT oil
- ¼ cup hemp seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- ½ cup ice
Method
- In a blender, blitz all ingredients until desired consistency is reached.
- Sprinkle with hemp seeds and coconut.
- Tip: To save time, I love to pre-blend my banana, maca, vanilla and MCT then pour into ice trays and pop into my morning smoothies.
