Hemp seeds are a fantastic source of complete protein as they contain all essential amino acids. This makes hemp the perfect protein source for vegetarians and vegans. Hemp is also a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, vitamin E, magnesium and B vitamins.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups cooked chickpeas
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ clove garlic, crushed
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • ½ cup water

Method


  • Add all ingredients to blender. Blend to smooth and creamy paste.
  • Pour into serving bowl and top with extra drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of hemp seeds.
