Haloumi and Herb Salad Recipe

Feel free to use any combination of fresh herbs in this dish. I used the basil, mint and oregano I had growing in my garden.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 225g haloumi cheese, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh herbs of choice
  • Juice 1 lemon

Method


  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in frypan over medium heat. Add haloumi slices and cook on each side for 3 mins until golden brown.
  • Place haloumi pieces on serving platter and scatter over mixed fresh herbs. Drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil and lemon juice and serve.
