Fruity Superfood Milkshake Recipe

Blueberries are a great source of essential vitamins and minerals and have powerful antioxidant properties. Fresh fruit, healing herbs and flaxseed oil combine to make this shake a convenient and replenishing superfood.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp natural yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Stoney Creek Organic Flaxseed Oil
  • 1 cup fresh fruit pieces (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or apricots)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg
  • Crushed ice
  • Sprig fresh mint or lemon thyme, to garnish

Method


  • Blend all milkshake ingredients together in a processor until smooth and frothy.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish with extra fresh fruit pieces and mint or lemon thyme to serve.
