Crispy Chicken Nori Wraps

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup almond butter or cashew, macadamia nut or tahini
  • 1 tbsp apple-cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup or raw honey
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 2 nori sheets
  • Organic crumbed chicken breast, cut into strips (or shredded roast chicken)
  • ½ cucumber, cut into matchsticks
  • Handful lettuce leaves, washed & dried
  • 1 medium avocado, sliced
  • 1 medium avocado, sliced
  • Other filling suggestions: sprouts, fresh herbs, shredded cabbage or carrots

Method


  • In a small bowl, whisk almond butter, apple-cider vinegar, maple syrup, ginger, garlic and sea salt together until smooth. Thin your sauce with a little water if needed, 1 tsp at a time.
  • lace your nori sheet on a sushi mat and layer with lettuce, chicken, cucumber, avocado and sesame seeds. Roll up your nori roll and seal the end with a little water. Place the seam down on a plate and then repeat with your other nori sheets.
  • Serve with your almond dipping sauce.
