Ingredients

  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg

Method


  • Cook the ramen noodles until just tender.
  • Drain, but reserve ¼ cup of the noodle water.
  • Heat the butter in a small frying pan and add garlic.
  • Sauté until golden and fragrant.
  • Add the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and sugar.
  • Stir for about 1 min to dissolve the sugar and form a sauce.
  • Add the noodles to the pan along with the noodle water and toss through.
  • Cook for 1-2 mins until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles.
  • Top with a fried egg to serve.
