Apple & Kiwi fruit Spritz — Giesen 0% Pinot Gris Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 kiwifruits
  • 6-10 basil leaves
  • 250mL water
  • 500g sugar
  • 60mL Giesen 0% Pinot Gris
  • 15mL kiwifruit & basil syrup (recipe above)
  • 15mL lime juice
  • 20mL fresh apple juice
  • 30mL soda water
  • Apple fan & basil leaf, to garnish

Method


  • Make kiwifruit & basil syrup by blending 2 kiwifruit and basil leaves
  • Bring 250mL of water to a boil, turn heat to medium-low and add kiwi/basil purée.
  • Mix for 30 secs then add 500g sugar.
  • Stir well until dissolved.
  • Pour Giesen 0% Pinot Gris, kiwifruit & basil syrup, lime juice and apple juice into a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake well and pour into a tall glass with ice.
  • Top with soda water, garnish with an apple fan and basil leaf.
