Ingredients
- 2 kiwifruits
- 6-10 basil leaves
- 250mL water
- 500g sugar
- 60mL Giesen 0% Pinot Gris
- 15mL kiwifruit & basil syrup (recipe above)
- 15mL lime juice
- 20mL fresh apple juice
- 30mL soda water
- Apple fan & basil leaf, to garnish
Method
- Make kiwifruit & basil syrup by blending 2 kiwifruit and basil leaves
- Bring 250mL of water to a boil, turn heat to medium-low and add kiwi/basil purée.
- Mix for 30 secs then add 500g sugar.
- Stir well until dissolved.
- Pour Giesen 0% Pinot Gris, kiwifruit & basil syrup, lime juice and apple juice into a cocktail shaker.
- Shake well and pour into a tall glass with ice.
- Top with soda water, garnish with an apple fan and basil leaf.
