Located at beautiful St Andrews Beach, about an hour from Melbourne City, Wellbeing Health Retreat is an easily accessible way to bring back some balance to your life. The retreat is just a 10-minute drive from the facilities of Peninsula Hot Springs and an easy five-minute stroll to delightful St Andrews ocean beach. In these serene and peaceful surroundings, you will find yourself ideally situated for the life-changing retreat you have been seeking.

The experience

There is plenty of space to spread out in comfort, offering ample opportunities to relax, reflect and rejuvenate in gentle new ways.

The venue, one of many Wellbeing Health Retreats, is a beautiful two-storey building overlooking the ocean. It has five bedrooms to cater for couples, twin share, or single clients. The retreat has two workshops, a meditation area, gentle stretch areas, two kitchens, four bathrooms, two spa baths inside and outside large gardens for reflection and mentoring, as well as lush lawns for stretching and enjoying the fresh ocean breeze.

Wellbeing Retreat programs

There are three-, four- or seven-day retreat packages available, which include all vegetarian meals, accommodation, Peninsula Hot Springs bathing pass, workshops, meditation, stretches, beach reflective walks, massage and mentoring sessions. Books and other health products are also available for you to invest in.

Overall, you can enjoy a unique and powerful combination of healthy eating, light detoxification, natural hot springs, gentle stretches, mindfulness training, healing sessions and fun activities to help create a sense of balance in your life.

Assessments using a heart-coherence device are also provided, pre- and post-retreats as feedback for you to evaluate the benefits of your experience.

Massage
The package includes a therapeutic and gentle massage and every client is invited to have one, it is a great way to unwind and relax.

Workshops
Retreat workshops cover all aspects of health — physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The workshops are designed to provide awareness and offer simple tools and techniques for total wellbeing. The theme is to promote mindfulness, self-awareness and to empower clients to create healthy, life-serving habits. The workshops are interactive and clients will pair up for optional share experiences and perform exercises together. Surveys conducted by Wellbeing Health Retreats consistently show that for the average person, a retreat of just two nights leads to significant improvements in wellbeing.

Meditation sessions
Both owners Sharada and Tony have are extremely knowledgeable about various meditation practices. They have chosen some simple, effective mindfulness- and HeartMath-based techniques appropriate to each specific retreat. These include body scans, silent mindfulness exercises, silent reflective beach walks, and conscious contemplation. Heart coherence meditation is also used to rebalance energy centres.

Mentoring
The retreat includes for one-on-one mentoring/healing sessions for guests (by appointment only) with either Sharada or Tony to discuss specific health aspects or needs.

Virtues exercises
Virtues exercises are included in the retreat, with the specific intention to recognise and build character strengths such as unity, confidence, integrity, trustworthiness, co-operation and many others. This is a great way for guests to discover their true selves, their inner strength, raise their sense of self-worth, find a sense of purpose and make a positive difference for themselves, their families, others and the planet.

Breathe easy
Breathe-easy training is offered to assist you in calming your mind and thus allowing the elimination of stress and initiating a relaxation response. It is the ability to relax that is vital to self-healing.

The retreat stocks a wide variety of health and wellbeing devices such as VieLight, Earthing sheets, Virtues cards and more. Guests are welcome to sample and purchase these items.

In addition to the offerings at the Wellbeing Health Retreat, guests can opt to arrange and pay for extra services at Peninsula Hot Springs.

Getting there

From Melbourne, head via the Mornington Peninsula Freeway towards Portsea. It is about a 60-minute drive to the St Andrews Beach venue.
