We have so much to say but, first, give thanks to the ones who came before us.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and live. We recognise their continuing connection to the land, water and community and pay our respects to the elders – past, present and emerging. Their ways have taught us to draw deeply from the living wisdom that surrounds us –the trees, plants, soil, air, animals and ocean – for it is there that we can be truly wild.
Hello, marvelous human.
Have you read our inaugural issue? WILD is a publication (and website) for the curious, the trailblazers, change makers, paradise creators and belief shakers. We’re certain you’re going to love what you find in our pages and in our beautiful and humble corner of the web.
We hope that our star-studded team of writers, photographers and illustrators led you to a place of pause within your mind. There, you may have wrestled with a fixed mindset, released a stuck belief or flipped the bird to an unconscious mental pattern. Either way, we hope you were able to carve out a new way to feel wild.
Our next issue will be on sale in April 2020, which gives you plenty of time to wedge the wonderful tips and tricks you’ve learnt from our first issue into all the gaps in your mind. So that next time we meet, you’re hungry for more ways to get wild.
But don’t worry, we’re not leaving you completely in the dark. You can find us here, obviously – you guys are as addicted to the internet as we are! Connect with us at @wellbeing_wild on Instagram or on Facebook.
We want to know what makes you wild. How do you live a wild life? It might be travelling, hiking, surfing, dancing, creating, foraging, cooking, making – anything that puts you in touch with that wild wave of energy and inspiration inside of you.
Simply share a photo of you living with wild intention and tell us how it reconnects you to that stream of freedom within. We are creating a moodboard of those who walk the wild life and will publish them in the magazine and online. We will share links to Instagram, your website or any blogs you might have so we can continue inspiring the wider world to live a wild life. Simply tag us and use the hashtag #wildway. Until next time, wilders, remember this: time isn’t something to fight against. The beauty that is your life flows freely with passion and intention. Dive in, it’s time to go for a swim. Let’s get wild!
