“Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be…”
– Yoga wisdom from a wise and unknown source…
I had to dig to find this yoga quote and am still not sure I have it right – but you get the idea… we are being asked to embrace change.
But right now today I feel torn between change and acceptance of what is, or rather I am struggling with accepting the changes I don’t want to see.
Ghandi would have to be one of my all time heroes, and I think it was him who uttered the wise words “be the change you want to see”.
I’ve been discussing this with folk at the yoga centre and there is definitely a conundrum between accepting what is and desiring change. We’ve resolved not to externalise, not to attach to our own desires for outcomes, and just ride the waves.
BTW – does anyone know where the above quote comes from? Would like to track them down?
