Forget the Mind

“You can enter the path of yoga, only when you are totally frustrated with your own mind as it is. If you are still hoping that you can gain something through your mind, yoga is not for you.”
–    Some yoga wisdom from Osho

This is bad news for someone who has started a blog that promises to give you something to think about in yoga!

I’ve always been a bit wary of Osho, simply because of the bad press he got back (was it in the 80’s…?) although I’ve often been impressed by many former Osho devotees.  Osho devotees are everywhere – and can often be found in modern yoga centres.

But back to the point – you know I don’t hate my mind.  I love my mind for the tool that it is, I marvel at the crazy stuff it comes up with, but I accept that I am no more my mind than I am my body.
