Nancy Jackson – Spinach & Feta Scrolls

I’ve been on the hunt for some easy, filling and delicious treats for my family so when I came across these scrolls in EatWell 37 (my very first issue!), I knew I’d found the perfect option. These scrolls are not only impressive to look at but super easy to make. They are so delicious, my entire family loves them and there is never a crumb to spare — I mean what doesn’t taste good in puff pastry? I’ve made them a few times and sometimes sprinkle pine nuts on top for added crunch! They are perfect for a dinner party starter (hello, Christmas spread!), picnics and I’ve even popped a few in the freezer for quick lunchbox options when I’m in a rush.

Tempus Two Lighten Up

Looking for a lighter option this silly season? Say hello to Tempus Two’s Lighten Up range, which offers full flavour with less alcohol and fewer calories. There’s a drop for every palate, with a pinot noir, rosé and prosecco on offer. Lighten Up is also a sustainably-minded tipple, made using renewable power sourced and finished with biodegradable paper labels. What’s not to love?!

MEET

I’ve been a vegetarian for almost a decade now and I’ve struggled to find a tasty meat-free alternative that doesn’t taste like, well, meat. Enter: MEET. I tried the MEETballs and MEET Strips and it was love at first bite. They’re so easy to cook and you can easily sub them into your favourite meaty recipes — even carnivores will love them! I always opt for fresh veggies and legumes where possible, but MEET products are such a quick and easy option for when I’m short on time.
